Meetings are held usually every 2nd Thursday of each month at various places and restaurants with dinner starting at 7 PM, except if it falls during the week of  Special Events such as Daytona and Sturgis -

We are a riding association; an exclusive fraternal sponsorship organization of men and lady motorcycle riders.

If you are interested in joining: Contact an officer or ask an IHRA member for sponsorship or attend a meeting as their guest. If you decide to join, after three meetings or IHRA sponsored events, you will be voted on to become a member. This is to get you acquainted with our membership. This also applies to military members...see below.

You can usually identify them wearing an IHRA shirt and a big smile.

We have no "closed" rides and welcome all makes of motorcycles to ride with us, although to join, you must be sponsored and meet the brand criteria list below.

Check the Calendar for meeting dates during March Daytona Bike Week and August's Sturgis Rally, as well as our January Post Holiday Party dates.

The Independent Harley Riders Association (IHRA) was formed to provide a means of fellowship for riders which includes  "Motorcycles of American Ancestry." (not limited to: American Ironhorse; Big Dog; Indian; Texas Choppers; Thunder Mountain;  Victory & other V-twins which were originally established in the U.S.)  Sorry, Goldwing, etc. have their own riding organizations, but you are welcome to ride with us.

An IHRA auxiliary was started in 2018 to include ANY brand of motorcycle 500cc or above. These riders must be sponsored into the IHRA by a member in good standing and must meet the minimum requirements as regular members.

Originally started as a Harley-Davidson riding organization in September 1990, we have sponsored poker runs for various charities and ride in many area city parades. We participate in several toy and poker runs sponsored by other area motorcycle groups. We organize rides to various events throughout the country, as well as rides in our local area.

Our dues are small and can include the "driver" plus their "rider" (whether they ride with you or not).

BENEFITS: comaraderie, riding in groups to different places, annual parties and other  parties during the year, helping others and we have a membership card which gives you discounts from 10-20% off at bike shops, restaurants, lounges and other services.

We support our troops. Any Active duty military personnel may join without having to pay dues as long as they are sponsored by an active IHRA member and meet the qualifications to join.  By being in the service, our members feel you have already "paid your dues."

In observance of the holidays, there is no meeting in December but we have our Holiday Party usually the 2nd Saturday in January.
